The Start of a New Beginning

As I wrap up my first course at Walden University, I feel very pleased with my outcome. Starting the course I was very nervous because I did not  know what to expect. At the beginning I struggled with getting accustomed to the Walden way of doing assignments and balancing my overall life. But thankfully I was able to achieve it all. This Foundation to Early Childhood course was very informative. Through the required readings, discussion post, blog post and, applications I was able to obtain and apply a lot of information. Not only was I able to share my knowledge through the assignments, I was also able to share the information with my co workers, family and friends. There is not a day that goes by when I am not speaking of early childhood education. I am so thankful that I am investing my time, energy and soul into something that I feel so passionate about. Thank you Dr. E for always providing me with feedback. This has helped me so much as I progressed through this course. Those weekly newsletters were an excellent resource as I approached each week.  Lastly, to my colleagues I believe that we are heading in the right direction in moving forth in the ECE field. Now we just need to focus on coming together to work with those who heavily impact our field, such as parents, law makers and other legislators. It is definitely time for a change within the field and for this change to happen we must first become a voice for the ECE field. I Wish all of you the best of luck as we continue our journey through this program!
