If I had the means and the knowledge to conduct research studies about any topic in the early childhood field, I would conduct a study about the benefits of early education. I am big on advocating for our young child and their education. There are so many benefits that coincide with young children and education. I like to think of education as a ripple effect. The continuing and spreading of knowledge. If someone threw a rock into a pond the ripples would keep expanding across the water. Early education is like the rock being dropped in the pond, it starts the foundation. As child grow they build off of those skills and it just continues to spread, just as the ripples do across a pond. Investing in our youth’s educational experience, is also investing in our society. Not only does early education prepare them academically but, also socially, emotionally and physically. Young child are our future, so therefore it is only right to make sure they are prepared to effectively contribute to our society. As an educator, I want to bring out the best in each child I interact with. I want each child to be able to bring their own unique contributions to world. Our society is very diverse (not only in race). With the unique contributions, our youth will be able to embrace their uniqueness in away that will change the world for the better.

Hi, Great post and great topic. I agree 100 percent that early education is the key to a childs academic success. Early education helps build a strong foundation for a child's emotional, social, physical and mental development which prepares them for life.
ReplyDeleteGood blog! I couldn't agree more early childhood education lays the foundation for learning. The first years of a child's life is pivotal to their developmental, and can affect the way they think, act, and view certain things. In order to produce productive members of society we must equip the child with the tools they need for survival by meeting their developmental needs so that they can become confident learners.
