The bond that I have created with these following people, has helped shape me into the women I am today. I believe that relationships are important because it allows you to interact with others and it also allows you to form trust.
My Mommy
My mom had been an enormous influence in my life. Not only because she is my mother, but because she has shaped me into the women I am today. Being the only child, my mom is like my best friend. She is always there when I need someone to talk to, she is my motivation and she gives me the best motherly advice. Whenever I am faced with different challenges in life she is always in my corner cheering me on to never give up.
My Daughter
On October 14th 2014 God blessed me and family with a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Ever since Kassi came into this world my life has forever changed. She motivates be to be the best Mother I can be. Each day she teaches me something new. Kassi is one of the reasons I decided to further my education. I absolutely love the bond that we share. She is a great blessing to my life and I am thankful for her.
My Significant Other
Me and Joe met each other in June 2010 at a convenient store through my parents and we have been dating ever since. It still amazes me how strong a bond can form between two random people. Over the past 7 years, we have formed a bond that has allowed us to gain trust and to be there for each other mentally and physically. I could not have picked a better person to spend the rest of my life with and for that I am thankful.
I like your reflection. Glad to here you got a great relationship with your mom. I lost my mom at an early age, and often wonder what our relationship would be like. God blessed me to have 2 daughters of my own, so I prayed that He would allow me life to see them grow up. He answered my prayers, and now I have 2 beautiful adults and a grandson. You stated the relationship with your mom shaped who you are today. In some ways my mom's death shaped the relationship I have with my daughters because I strive for the mother daughter relationship I did not get to have with her.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I have a close bond also. She knows that I went back to school and she will send me positive text just out of nowhere. It always come in a time when I need it. The last text was “you are my inspiration”. She is also working on her masters and she teaches sixth grade math. My sixth grader also makes these comments, hers is usually”. You are the best mom”. I am thankful for my all my kids.
